Light sensitivity

I'm not quite sure what's up but I have been getting increasing sun sensitivity.  Considering I grew up in the land with no trees, I need the sun to survive.  Without it I feel like I wilt. Serious. I need my sunshine.  So this has been really hard on me.  Called my doctor yesterday and because I have no other symptoms, she is sending me to the VA emergency room because she can't explain it. 

So we are going on a road trip that I can't even look out the window.  Boooooo!

Has this happened to you?  No headaches or vision changes.  I don't take any meds or even drink. So this is weird to me. I am fine in all other light.
